From colorful ethnic festivals to vibrant nightlife, Lion City offers a unique experience for every visitor. Singapore has many highlights, such as the city’s Singapore Zoo, the famous Night Safari, and the tropical theme park Sentosa Island. This city’s great tourist infrastructure and great public transport make it an ideal vacation spot and an excellent gateway to other Southeast Asian destinations.

Thailand

It is a land of beauty and mystery that draws many travelers to island resorts and busy cities. The culture, food, and warm hospitality of the locals keep tourists coming back for more. The two most popular beach resorts are:

Pattaya

It is located on the Gulf of Thailand, 150 km south of Bangkok. Known as the ‘Thai Riviera’ and one of Southeast Asia’s top beach resorts, the resort town of Pattaya attracts more than one million tourists annually from all over the world. Located on 4 km of coastline, Pattaya is famous for its high-standard hotels, shopping, seafood restaurants, diverse world cuisine, sports waters, and vibrant nightlife.

The southern part of the bay gets very lively and fun at night with many bars, nightclubs, shopping stalls, and local food vendors. A day trip to remote islands such as Coral Island is a very popular activity where you can enjoy water sports, restaurants, and quiet beaches.

Phuket

The “Pearl of the South” is Thailand’s largest island (48 km long, 21 km wide), located in the Andaman Sea off the southwestern coast of the country and connected to the mainland by a bridge.

Phuket Town is in the southeast part of the island, the international airport is to the north, and the most popular beach resorts are on the west coast. One of Asia’s leading beach resorts, Phuket still preserves its distinct culture from Chinese and Portuguese influences.

The island offers its visitors warm tropical weather, beautiful white sandy beaches with warm clear water, pristine forests, shopping in high-end shops or traditional markets, many bars and restaurants, fascinating nightlife, and friendly locals. Phuket was also named one of the World’s Top 5 retirement destinations by Fortune Magazine.

Las Vegas, USA

With a population of over 500,000, it is the largest city in the state of Nevada. The city has become a vacation destination in its own right, with many magnificent hotel and casino complexes along the famous Las Vegas Boulevard or “The Strip.” Many of the hotels have created a fantasy-like atmosphere, with names and themes evoking romance, mystery, and distant destinations.

The “Entertainment Capital of the World” is also home to some of the biggest names in entertainment and stage productions, including music stars, magicians, and Cirque du Soleil productions. And just a few hours away is one of the natural wonders of the world – the Grand Canyon. Even if you’re not a gambler, there’s plenty to do in Las Vegas!

Paris, France

It is located in the north of the country on the Seine River. It is recognized as the most beautiful and romantic among all cities. Paris is highly regarded in the fields of culture, art, fashion, food, and design and is the world’s most popular tourist destination. The center of Paris is officially divided into 20 districts (zones) numbered 1 to 20 in a clockwise spiral from the city center.

Each region has its own unique character and attractions. North of the river, the area is known as the Right Bank includes the tree-lined Avenue des Champs-lyses, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Louvre Museum. South of the river, the area is known as the Left Bank showcases the city’s most famous landmark, the Eiffel Tower.

Dubai

A city of contrasts, where East meets West and old meets new, it’s a great place to visit. Nestled on a coastline surrounded by the majestic desert and calm blue waters of the Persian Gulf, Dubai offers a unique Arabian experience of year-round sunshine and stunning scenery, world-class shopping, luxury hotels, and great dining.

Dubai has transformed from a small fishing village into a modern and vibrant city where celebrities vacation and the Dubai skyline competes to become the biggest, brightest and tallest in the world. In the 1990s, Dubai embarked on an ambitious campaign to become one of the world’s top tourist destinations, supported by a massive hotel construction program and the launch of Emirates Airlines.

Today, Dubai is known for its man-made islands shaped like palm trees and a world map, and its reputation as an international shopping destination. It provides the perfect stopover when traveling between Asia and Europe.

Sydney, Australia

It is the largest city in Australia and the capital of the state of New South Wales with a population of just over 4.25 million. Sydney is a European settlement founded as a penal colony by the British on January 26, 1788, and celebrated as Australia Day, a public holiday with great festivities across the country. Sydney’s large, safe and beautiful natural harbor was the reason the original penal settlement was established in the area. In 1788 the first fleet of 1,400 convicts, soldiers, administrators, and their families arrived in what is now Circular Quay, between the famous Sydney Harbor Bridge and the Opera House.

By 1840, prisoner transport to Sydney had stopped, and gold was discovered in 1851, which led to a massive population explosion. By 1925 Sydney’s population had reached 1 million. Sydney has an international reputation as one of the most beautiful and livable cities in the world. It is a multicultural and cosmopolitan city where a third of its population was born abroad. Sydney hosted the very successful 2000 Summer Olympic Games, raising the city’s global profile.
