The Magaliesberg Mountains are the ideal weekend getaway or romantic getaway. Due to its proximity to Johannesburg International Airport, Magaliesberg is the perfect first night stop on the way to Sun City or Madikwe Game Reserve. The grand Sun City entertainment venue offers unparalleled entertainment. With a wide variety of gambling and entertainment opportunities, two Gary Player-designed golf courses, horse and elephantback safaris, a water park, and Valley of the Waves – there’s something for everyone.

The adjacent Pilanesberg Game Reserve features a variety of luxury lodgings and comfortable Parks Board accommodations. Clients can navigate around the park on their own or choose a guided drive, hike or hot air balloon safari. Pilanesberg offers the opportunity to see the ‘Big Five’ and prolific birdlife.
