The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man
After the space shuttle, this ride might be the coolest thing in Florida. Jump into the roller coaster/motion simulator combo – Spider-Man needs you now! State-of-the-art 3D rendered super villas are roaming around (hopping into your car and chasing you with giant power plugs), and it’s up to you and your favorite web hanger to stop them. I don’t want to give too much away, so know that this is an amazing experience. You must be at least 40 inches tall and children shorter than 48 inches must be accompanied by an adult.
Doctor Doom’s Fear
This is less intimidating than it looks, great for timid people but a bummer for adrenaline junkies. You will be shot in the air, it will take your breath away, and then you will be dropped – but gently and not too far.
Incredible Hulk Coaster
One of those coasters with a twist of surprise can turn you Hulk green if you just eat it! Watch out for the first hill, Dr Baxter!
Storm Force Acceletron
Another barf-o-rama, this is the same as Walt Disney World’s Crazy Tea Party — only in the dark. Good luck with saving your last meal.
Toon Lagoon
Continuing the superhero-comics theme, the old cartoon favorite comes to life here with spontaneous stunts, mid-range games and a truly drenched water ride. There’s something indescribable about seeing Popeye make a move on the streets.
Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls
Confused Canadian Mountie is busy keeping logs crammed with tourists from flying off the edge of a massive waterfall – oh no! Be careful – you’ll probably get drenched on this boat ride with the best design like this one.
