Best tips for the Rainbow Mountain Tour.

Traveling to Peru and the Andes is challenging due to most of the tourist destinations being located at high altitudes, and Cusco is the gateway for many of them.

Altitude: The Rainbow Mountain is nestled at high altitude, so it is essential to acclimatize in Cusco or other nearby locations at least 2-3 days before heading on the hike to avoid any altitude sickness.

Weather: Many of the tours in Cusco depend on the weather conditions, which is the most important factor to have an incredible time by exploring this iconic Rainbow Mountain in Peru.

Best Time to Visit: The dry season is the best time to visit the Rainbow Mountain, which is from May to October, when the weather is more predictable and can have more clear days with more options to see the blue skies and wonderful mountains. While the rainy season is from November to April, it can be more challenging due to the heavy rain and less visibility at this altitude.
